KCET Exam Pattern

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2021 exam pattern gives the candidates an idea about the number of questions asked in the examination, duration of the examination, marks allotted for every question and the negative marks for wrong answers.

The KCET examination is held on two days as two sessions on each day. On the first day, it is Biology and Mathematics examination. The second day is Physics and Chemistry examination. The Kannada language test will be held on third day, at the Bangalore centre only. The Kannada language test is for candidates from Horanadu and Gadinadu.

Highlights of KCET Exam Pattern 2021

  1. The examination is conducted in four subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics).

  2. There are 60 questions in every subject.

  3. The candidates have to choose the correct answer from the four options given.

  4. There is only one correct answer in the four options. Multiple answers to the same question will not be given any marks.

  5. Every correct answer is given one mark.

  6. There is no negative marking in the KCET 2021 pattern.

  7. The candidates have to mark the correct answer on an OMR sheet.
